An idea with a purpose.
StreetForge is a visual street-design tool built around an editable 2D canvas. Combine travel lanes, transit, buildings, greenery, and public space to explore how a street could work.
Built for a real redesign.
I built StreetForge to help the USC ASCE Transportation Design Team with its redesign of Hollywood Boulevard. It gives the team one shared place to lay out lane, transit, greenery, and sidewalk options for the corridor, then export and share them.
Make the possibilities visible.
The editor lets you place, resize, curve, and connect features, or describe a layout in words and inspect the result. Example streets give people a starting point, while import and export tools help turn an idea into something they can share.
- Build and edit a street directly on the canvas.
- Describe a layout in words and review its order and dimensions.
- Explore example streets, public spaces, and transportation layouts.
